127 piles were driven in the seabed until they hit refusal. Then were they drilled out to allow concrete to be poured, creating a bond between the bedrock and the pile. These piles support the concrete deck and walkways. Two navigation aids and five mooring dolphins are drilled. They consist of raker piles.
